SUPER-M capped off a busy 2012-2013 academic year with Monte Carlo Night on April 24th, 2013 at the UH Manoa Campus Center Ballroom. With roughly 230 students, 70 volunteers, and live music from our very own Dr. JB Nation, the first Monte Carlo Night by SUPER-M was nothing short of a success. We thank all the schools, students, parents and volunteers for helping us making the night a success. Thank you to Hawaii Public Radio's Bytemarks Cafe hosts Burt Lum and Ryan Ozawa as well as Nanea Kalani for helping us spread the word!

Monte Carlo Night is an evening for 7th-12th grade students to learn more about probabilities and statistics in an exciting forum. Guests find an experience like that of Vegas, but with focus on mathematical thinking and decision-making through variations of popular casino games developed and led by both graduate and undergraduates at UHM. We welcome all students, especially those eager to discover how mathematics practically impacts each individual person. Event is FREE!

This evening will be hosted at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Campus Center Ballroom on April 24th, 2013 from 6pm-8pm. Visitors can find parking in the Lower Campus Parking Structure off of Dole Street and the Visitor's Parking lot next to Sinclair Library off of University Ave.
